Resources for Parents of Advanced Learners

 

Dear Parents of Advanced Learners,

 
I wanted to make sure you are aware of the following parent resources:
 
·        
There is an Advanced Learner Parent and Teacher Information Notebook at each school site with information on the identification process, differentiation, definitions, middle and high school Honors/AP courses, a list of resources for parents, and state standards. Ask for this notebook in your school office.
 
·          You can also find GATE information on the Carlsbad Unified School District GATE web site: http://www.carlsbadusd.k12.ca.us/gate.html . It is linked to the Carlsbad Unified Homepage at www.carlsbadusd.k12.ca.us/ .
