iPad Learning

Buena Vista Elementary has an iPad for every three students in the school.  This enables all teachers to incorporate this technology tool into their instruction on an at least weekly basis.  Primary teachers use iPads as part of their morning rotations and upper grade teachers guide students through report writing and research using their iPads.  The CUSD filter keeps students from accessing materials that would not be appropriate to their age group, giving teachers confidence and freedom with navigating websites for data.

Buena Vista Elementary is fortunate enough to have Smartboards in grades K-5.

Flexcams, Projectors, & Projection Screens

All grades K-5 benefit from having a Flexcam, ceiling mounted projection system, and a large projection screen in their classroom which promotes active participation from students, creates a dramatic visual representation of the material being learned, and material access to a number of students without the use of paper copies; thus being Eco-Friendly to the environment!
